  1. No attempt is made on this site to consider each of the passages wrested in an effort by trinitarians to prove that the Holy Spirit is a person with the Godhead. To do so would result in many repetitious solutions. Instead, a list of the evidence against the trinitarian position is tabulated.

Problem:
 
This passage is interpreted by Roman Catholic expositors to support their position on papal infallibility. It is argued that the authority of Jesus Christ is guaranteed in this passage to the legitimate successors, i.e. the Bishops of Rome.

Roman Catholics understand this passage to teach that when the appropriate words are uttered by the priest, the Wafer is changed into the real body of Christ. This is the doctrine of Transubstantiation.
